Here is a list of must-haves / must-dos if you want to get noticed on Twitter.

• No Spammer-Followers. A spammer in your follower list doesn’t add real value to your profile. A spammer can be easily identified. He’s probably posting thousands of links or tweeting about what he eats and what he is allergic to. Block all such tweeple.
• No direct messages. Don’t ‘direct-message’ people about things that are general in principle. Use that feature only when you’ve a established personal relationship with them (or are trying to establish one). Otherwise, it is nothing but counter productive.
• A good avatar. One of the most important things. Choose a unique avvie which is easy to recall and preferably square in dimensions. Also customise your background and colour scheme.
• Bio. Claim what you’re. Just polish your real bio. (No I m da xpert language please).
